Also, working with NEROPA sensitizes and raises awareness among those involved.<\/p>\n<p>NEROPA<sup>TM <\/sup> is a protected brand and can also be used in other industries, as a bridge from present day gender imbalance to a multifaceted future.<\/p>\n<h2>The World is diverse &amp; colourful and one Half are Women<\/h2>\n<p>Film and television as a whole however have not been reflecting this reality in their fictional and non-fictional programmes. Instead, they continue to show significant male majorities onscreen. Whether it&#8217;s talk shows, sports news or feature films, the focus is mostly on men: <em>men talk and women listen, men act and women look nice<\/em><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This imbalance has been going on for so long that most of the time we don&#8217;t even notice it any more. So we grow up with fewer images of women in the media and in fictional productions, and also with them being less diverse in character, profession, age, ethnicity etc.<\/p>\n<p>The lack of narrative range in film and television also affects the social reality around us. There are far too few role models, impulses and inspirational frictions &#8211; for women and men, girls and boys.<\/p>\n<h2>Gender &amp; Diversity Tool: subtle, simple, sustainable<\/h2>\n<p>NEROPA<sup>TM <\/sup> is a new, unique method for reducing gender imbalance in scripts in a straightforward, systematic and low-threshold manner.
